I just downloaded both NetBeans 6.5 and 6.01 and could not create an empty foxbeans project, or open an existing project.
More specifically, I could create the project, but then it wouldn't appear in the projects list but no errors were displayed.
If I tried to open an existing foxbeans project (sent to me by another developer who uses foxbeans on Ubuntu), NetBeans recognises the project directory but when I select it to open the project, it says "unrecognised project; missing plugin?"
Any thoughts?

http://plugins.netbeans.org/PluginPortal/faces/... first as described in this page.
After that you will find the Mozilla Addons project in the create project dialog.
You may need to click the link twice because there is an issue in the plugins.netbeans.org. It will not open the target page for the url. You are also search foxbeans on the opened page.

- Problem with NetBeans 6.7

Seems like this module may use deprecated editor APIs. At least that's the error I get when I tried to load it with the latest Netbeans (6.7M3).
I did find info on the issue at http://wiki.netbeans.org/EditorSettingsUpgrade
So with possibly unjustified confidence I tried to download source code to see if I could help, but I'm getting python errors from mercurial.
I'll help if I can.
